I am not going to lie. With 5 kids, 2 dogs, a farm to help run, a full time job, and a photography business to juggle my plate is FULL. Sometimes it’s easy for me to get sucked into the crazy and get overwhelmed by it all, but do you know what helps me keep my sanity?

They bring the peace to my crazy little corner of the world.
Whenever I look back on a year, and look through all of my couples little moments, I always find it very humbling. To be able to be with these couples on one of the most important days of their lives, and capture those little things- that they might have forgotten, or not even realized happened while they were all wrapped up in the wedding day- it’s just amazing. And I am so grateful that I accidentally stumbled (fell? got pushed? haha.) into this little piece of the wedding world.
I had 14 weddings of my own this year, as well as a small handful that I second shot for a friend, a pile of senior sessions, and several family and maternity sessions. I tried to go through and pick favorites from each session/wedding/etc. but my blog post started getting out of hand š so here’s just a mash up of some of my favorite wedding momentsĀ from 2016. Brides, grooms, guests, cats, dads…you name it.
I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings, it’s already shaping up to be pretty great!
