I spent this past Saturday second shooting Sam + Melissa’s wedding with Hemmersbach Photography, and I had such a great time. When Melissa asked me to second shoot for them I was so excited. She had already told me a few details and it was all right up my alley…I ‘m a sucker for anything homemade, and their wedding day was chock full of homemade and vintage goodness, starting with Melissa’s dress. She had her grandmother’s dress from 57 years ago redesigned, her birdcage veil was homemade by the same woman who redesigned her dress, (if you’re ever looking for a seamstress, be sure to keep Barb Ornes of Sew Much More Alterations in mind, she does a fantastic job!) and not only did Melissa make her (super adorable) table favors by herself, she also made her wedding cake. How awesome is that?! Their day was SO full of love, and LOTS of laughter, it really was the perfect day. So congrats again Sam and Melissa, and THANK YOU so much for including me in your special day!
